T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports that the Rangers have agreed to terms with righthander Vicente Padilla, pending a physical, on a three-year, $33 million contract that includes a $15 million option for a fourth season.
Sullivan adds that the signing of Padilla doesn’t foreclose the Rangers’ pursuit of Barry Zito.

It’s 12 million for the 4th year (thats what it says on the Rangers site at least)and thats one really good signing by JD now for that “other” pitcher.
